Thanks for letting me join!... and... Fridays flower tip

I received some photos in an email the other day from my friend Ali. Her wedding was spectacular! She had so many visions and it all came together just perfectly. Her Uncle Mark from Las Vegas was the mastermind for the decor. He was so nice to let me join in all the fun and soak up all of his knowledge! Seeing how he was from out of town I met with them and helped by ordering the flowers here in Utah. I also was able to help with the wedding party's flowers. I was also able to gather up about 30 Hydrangea plants. We wrapped the growers pot in some pretty paper and scattered them everywhere! Hydrangeas are my favorite. So I automatically loved it all from the start. I just wanted to say thank you again to Ali and Josh Cummings, their families, and especially to Mark Bell. You are amazing at what you do. I learned so much. Some of the best times are spent observing others and their ideas in this industry.
I loved working on her bouquet. Probably one of my favorite ones I have done.

Loved the boutonnieres. Very classy.

Friday Flower Tip: If you are using any kind of roses on your wedding day or prom, here is a tip for you! When you receive  your flowers and you notice that there are brown edges, bruising, rips or tares, do not take those petals off till the actual wedding day, when the reception starts or even just before pictures. This will insure that the other petals wont brown. The ugly petals will absorb the bad. Leaving you with longer lasting, nicer roses. :) Have a great Saturday tomorrow!
