Taste of Summer on a gloomy Winter day

Hey there! How are ya?! If you live in Utah, are you surviving this awful smoggy inversion? I have hated it... All I want is my warm summer nights back!

This week I have received some photo's from a wedding I did that took me back to August. I have known this cute bride since she was a baby. This is Taylor, my best friends little sister. These pictures don't even do justice to how beautiful this couple looked and how amazing this summer night was. They had a killer outdoor wedding with glowing lights and personal touches that was sure to make this event magical. Not only did I love working on this wedding, It was so fun to attend it and catch up with her family and so many other friends.

I want to talk to you about the flowers for a minute... The color scheme that was used in this wedding was lavender and peach. I... LOVE...LOVE these colors together. They seem to be very popular all over the Pinterest world. This was a first for me working with the two colors and I fell in love. I love how soft they are, but yet they accent each color so vibrantly.

Some of the flowers used are very popular these days like the Garden roses and Babies breath. Wrapped up in lace and this added perfectly to the vintage look. Other flowers used were Stock, Roses, Lisianthus and Scabiosa (one of my favorites). OK! enough of me talking... Take a look of these amazing photos!
