It is April 16th 2013. Three years ago today, I married my best friend. I know everyone says that, but really guys, I did. I never thought that life could be so good. I am so blessed to be Ryan Barton's wife, to be with him everyday, to talk with him. He is amazing. He makes me laugh harder than anyone else. He takes me on adventures. He loves me and I love him more than I could ever explain to anyone. Today we get to celebrate our marriage... I am excited! Ryan is taking me to a Bed and Breakfast place in the mountains of Park City, UT when he gets home from school. Its snowing here, so we are going out to dinner and after we will snuggle up close. (one of my favorite things to do.)
In honor of our wedding anniversary, I wanted to highlight my amazing flowers at my wedding. My colors were Lemon yellow, Lime green and Chocolate brown. We filled vases up with lemon and lime slices and did arrangements out of the top. I wanted lots of spring flowers. Tulips and Hydrangeas are my favorite... so I got them. I wanted it to be fun and bright. We hung yellow and green Chinese lanterns everywhere with mixed patterned ribbon... oh how I loved my wedding day. I would not change a thing, still to this day, even after getting a Pinterest account :)
Katie Broadbent, a great friend and LDS Young Women's leader of mine did my flowers. Katie is the one who got me into floral in the first place. Her and her crew went above and beyond my expectations. Simply an amazing job with my flowers. I am so lucky to have great friends. Here are a couple shots of my beautiful pride and joy.... my bouquet.
